Kathy MacKenzie picked up her first camera at the young age of seven, as a "Brownie" scout.  
Throughout her school years, she was the one taking the candid shots of her classmates,
animals and scenery.

During high school, Kathy went beyond just taking candid photos and learned the nuances of
taking great shots, lighting, texturing, framing as well as how to develop film in the dark room
(obviously, that was in the days before digital photography).

Once out of college, Kathy's first entrepreneurial endeavor was "Kards by Kathy" that featured her
photography on greeting cards, calendars and posters.  It now offers quality limited-edition photo
art on a global scale.
